This week marks the very first conference that Robyn B Ministries will sponsor. The NW Ministry Conference will be held at Overlake Christian Church in Seattle, WA and will include 3,000 pastors and ministry leaders from around the Northwest and beyond. Wow! That’s a lot of ministry passion congregating all in one place for His glory! I love it!
Robyn B Ministries will have an exhibit table that has been designed to be professional and approachable. We will network with attendees, speakers, worship leaders and other exhibitors and share the calling that God has on our lives. That will probably be my favorite part of this event and we are looking forward to it. Oh, we will have the banners, shirts, pens, books, CDs, etc., but those are just mere items to display. The eternal value of those days at Overlake is the most important part; what we will take back to our communities to increase our effectiveness in our ministries.
If I “lived in the human”, I could become very nervous about an unknown activity. Will they like me? Will they like my work? Will they respect my expertise? Will they be drawn to our booth? and on and on and on…
STOP! I believe that the Lord God has called me to establish Robyn B Ministries, write “Chained No More”, record the “Through the Rain” CD and move this ministry forward in His name. I will have NO fear, because I know He called me, goes before me and will equip me with everything that I need. Period! I don’t need the approval of men or women. I don’t need to prove anything to anyone or make it bigger than it is. I have no goals or plans, but I do know I will follow Him on this ministry adventure and not jump ahead of Him. He leads and guides this ministry journey. He has proved time and time again the eternal value of all the items on my exhibit table. I will stand in my confidence in Him for the many hours at the conference and follow Him the entire time. Can’t wait!
Wait a minute! Enough about me…..what about YOU? What is He calling you to do? Do you even hear His voice? Have you asked Him if there is something else He needs of you? If He calls you, there is nothing you can’t do in His name . Do you believe that or are you so full of self-doubt and insecurity in your own human abilities that you stop and go the other way?
Paul wrote to the slaves in Ephesus, “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free.” Ephesians 6:7,8 In other words, we are serving God by serving others, in whatever He calls us to do. Yes, you can….Take ONE GIANT LEAP of faith and see what He does through you!
