Illuminating the Corners

Have you ever experienced a significant power outage in your home?  You know, when all of a sudden, everything electric shuts off all at once?  For a split second, if it is at night, you sit in the dark in silence and then take some type of action to bring light to the situation.

The first thing you might do is find your way to the breaker box to see if it is something as simple as a blown fuse.  If that isn’t the problem, it is time to look for a flashlight, candle, lighter or anything else that can help bring light, so you can move around the house.

When we begin our “Chained No More” classes, we pray that our participants will let the Holy Spirit illuminate the dark corners of their lives, so He can clean the junk of their past out and bring deep healing.  Dark corners, such as past abuse, secret sins, divorce, abortion, incarceration, hatred, bitterness, etc., can build huge piles of hurt and it accumulates over decades in the dark corners of our lives and memories, leaving us in a world of hurt and bitterness.

It is easier to just let it stay hidden in the dark than it is to see it, face it and do business with God about it.  “Chained No More” is the perfect resource for this process of healing and hundreds have found hope and healing through it’s pages.  This book helps you explore those things that may have hardened your heart and made you feel like you were “on the outside looking in.”

As you allow the Holy Spirit to illuminate those “corners”, you can see what the enemy has done and then begin to see God’s perspective on the issues you have.  The Spirit begins to bring discovery and clarity to these issues and begins to lead you in sweeping them out of your life once and for all. “Chained No More” leaders are there to guide and walk alongside of their participants in classes. In the self-discovery version, for individual study, reading the chapters will do the same for readers.

This book is affective and successful because the reader is filling out page after page, answering questions that cover their parents’ divorce, past abuses, hurtful experiences and things that maybe the reader has not been able to forgive and certainly not forget.  It is extremely affective for those who are tired of dragging the same baggage behind them and wanting to be free from it once and for all.

You can purchase the “Chained No More” curriculum (Leader Guide and Participant Book) or the self-discovery version on,, or any other bookselling website.  It could be the beginning of being free to be the person God made you to be and not what anyone or anything has ever told you.  You can now define yourself by who God says you are and not by the chains you have been dragging through life.  Sound good?
